Lute FP If you don’t know Mugison, you need to. If you do know Mugison and don’t know this album, the notables are that he sings in his native Icelandic tongue, and the album as a whole is tremendously accessible, where much of his earlier stuff is more experimental, however much to its credit. The production is amazing, this is true headphone music.

Asher Woolverton Most consistent Mugison album and quite bluesy. I picked up my copy at hotel Ísafjörður in 2012 and it was great to listen to while driving the rental car around the west fjords. Favorite track: Þjóðarsálin.

T G I was surprised by how calm it is in comparison to earlier work, but it's great that Mugison is showing his songwriter qualities - and singing in Icelandic! How cool is that? What a great album for autumn. Very recommended. Favorite track: Haglél.
